    • Synopsis
    • Anjani (Shirley Anggraini) ran away from home after she was accused of being involved in an obscene act with her male friends.
She followed Anggalih (Tim Matindas), her platonic boyfriend from junior high school who was on his journey to the Catholic seminary after the school holiday was over.
The journey did not only become a moment where Anggalih had some doubts on his choice to become a priest, but also an attempt for both he and Anjani to escape from the path they had been living.
In the middle of the journey, Anjani’s powerful father sent Ruben (Tio Pakusadewo) - a scoundrel investigator - to get Anjani home. Ruben stalked, persuaded and deceived Anjani with the ways of a devil. He conformed to Anjani’s wishes, defended and protected her only to manipulate her wishes for freedom. Anjani’s anger and Anggalih’s doubt made it easy for Ruben to do his task.
Toilet Blues is a question of right and wrong, heaven and hell, which is not always played to the public, just like graffiti slob in public toilets visited by Anjani in her journey with Anggalih.
