Isaac, a rugged handsome young South Asian police detective, visits his estranged father, Devon, who has been incarcerated for murder. Even while on his deathbed, Devon denies any wrongdoing.
Isaac returns to his hometown, reviving memories of his carefree childhood in the staff quarters of the Wingfield residence, a wealthy Caucasian household. Oblivious to the existence of societal barriers, Isaac had developed a deep fondness for Rachel Wingfield, which later blossomed into love. Rachel’s brutal murder, a crime which his father is convicted for, left a deep gash on Isaac’s psyche.
Shortly, Isaac finds himself unintentionally investigating the murder. He soon becomes engulfed in the web of mystery surrounding Rachel’s death, which has only become darker with the passage of years.
