- Marcelo, a university professor in his 40s, is on the run. He arrives in Recife during carnival week, hoping to reunite with his son. Little does he know that he is being tailed from São Paolo and that the neighbours in his new refuge may not all be who they seem. There appears to be no escape from the tentacles of corruption.
