    • The dream of marrying rich can turn into a horrible nightmare, as some oligarchs’ wives have found out.
Director Alexander Gentelev (“Oligarchs”, “Thieves by Law”, “Putin’s Games”) once again achieves amazing access to a hidden Russian world as he meets women before, during, and after their time as a trophy spouse.
The film follows the stories of three individual women; Natalia, the ex-wife of billionaire Vladimir Potanin (the richest man in Russia), Alena, the former wife and wealthy co-owner of ‘Red Stars’, a major recording studio in Russia, and a country girl Maria, hoping for her own Cinderella story, and one day becoming the wife of a millionaire.
