    • Synopsis
    • In 1999 Lucia Murat wrote, produced and directed the feature film "Brave New Land” where the Kadiwéu people - native Brazilian Indians who live in Mato Grosso do Sul, west of Brazil - were characters, as they collaborated during the shooting as actors. This documentary shows what has happened to them and how they live nowadays. Electricity has arrived to the reservation, and with it television, soap operas, etc. Now they must face white culture and fight to keep their land. What is to be an Indian is their question today.
