- Synopsis
- Vincenzo Buonavolontà, an Italian maintenance worker at a mill, is convinced that a blast furnace sold to a Chinese delegation is defective. Having determined the cause, he goes in search of the blast furnace and unexpectedly discovers a route of extraordinary new experiences as he travels from one Chinese city to another, along the Yangtze, and on to Southern Mongolia.
