- Synopsis
- The war has scattered Ukrainians all over the world, and many families are forced to live separately, separated by miles and borders. And everyone experiences this horror in their own way. Ivan Zabiyaka, a respected Ukrainian railway worker, is retired in his home village in the Kharkiv region. But since the war began, he has been behaving strangely. He goes mushrooming in February, talks to chickens, and robs the local library, which hasn't been open for ten years. The grandfather's eccentricities are no longer safe, and now he faces a trip to prison. But the commander of the local territorial defense unit agrees to let Ivan Andriyovych go, out of respect for his past merits and as compensation for the destroyed checkpoint, and most importantly, on condition that he gets out of here for good.
  But Ivan Andriyovich has his own plans. And he is not going anywhere.
