    • Synopsis
    • Women are raised under the idea that there are jobs that are not for us, especially if they are jobs related to physical strength. Stereotypes show us as delicate, in tasks without great effort or with activities related to care or admi- nistrative tasks. We also have to dedicate time to household chores, which means that the hours worked are longer for us and in general we are forced to reduce our working hours, earn less income, sleep less, or not do any recreational or educational activities.
Work is one of the areas in which gender inequa- lity is most expressed. Can anyone imagine a soccer referee, a blacksmith or a sushiwoman? "That's me" rescues stories of women who defy prejudices about strength, capacity and the nature of tasks. Stories about how to transform dreams into more inclusive realities.
The series will give us a diverse range of charac- ters, landscapes and interests that problematize gender as a transversal axis to economic condi- tions. Each episode will show the story of a woman with a traditionally male occupation where we will see in detail her work, placing her in a more abstract place of reflection on her job and her environment. Through their experiences we will learn how they managed to overcome the taboo of being themselves and the unheeded mandates to follow their desires.
