- Synopsis
- St. Pauli, Hamburg, mid 80s, ALEX (Rosalie Thomass) is a nightshift cabby. The sound is hard, pubs are dark and loud, people drink and smoke all the time - not just cigarettes. Alex gets together with DIETRICH (Stipe Erceg). It's far from being love, but the sex is okay and Alex does not want any strings attached whatsoever.
  With MARC (Peter Dinklage: GAMES OF THRONE, THE CRONICLES OF NARNIA, THE STATION AGENT, LIVING IN OBLIVION, SEINFELD), she could have more than a casual relationship but she is afraid of such a commitment especially, to a little person.
  ALEX’ nightly life is occupied by struggling with her passengers, most of them being washed-up and doomed, some aggressive others just looking for someone to talk to. This sort of life could go on and on, ALEX could drive away from her own life and in doing so lose MARC and not getting rid of DIETRICH. It takes a little monkey who shares Alex’ invincible desire for freedom to trigger a decision.
