Tetyana Karavaeva would like to hear the snow falling as she used to do in Ukraine. Tanya – that’s how she is known – is 54 years old and arrived to Buenos Aires twenty years ago in the company of her son, Sergey, who was 8 years old at the time. She lives and works in the Ukranian Renaissance Association in the neighbourhood of Once, together with Igor, her husband originally from Odessa who works for a supermarket chain decorating cakes. Seven years ago Sergey died. Ever since, Tanya hangs in her house pictures of her son in Celestial landscapes and takes part in her own film in the belief that the existence of her son can transcend the images.
