    • Synopsis
    • Irene lives between two worlds: a real one, where the powerful psychiatric drugs her husband gives her allow her to live a normal life; but, her attraction for Shadows pushes her to the "Other Real World" where some of the voices she hears in her head are real and at the edge of a reality that is impossible to understand with reason. Irene, who doesn´t speak Spanish, ends up living as a beggar on the streets of Bogotá, as the one chosen by "them" in an all-out fight against the shadows.

"This is one of the most innovative stories I've heard lately because it joins the supernatural with the uncanny."" Robert McKee, during a private pitch meeting with Colo,
In the style of The Matrix, Splitmind suggests an alternate reality that we are only capable of perceiving by diving into the twisted mind of a schizophrenic to access a fantastic universe (like in Inception) personally experiencing the anxiety of knowning oneself crazy while at the same knowning that this madness is real. A powerful story of very high dramatic levels that is ideal for a very high-profile production that takes place in a new location for commercial film: the mean suburban ghettos in Latin America."
