    • There is no contact to the grandmothers living behind the Iron Curtain. Silence and a wall determines the situation and communication between the generations. The only link between East and West are the postcards of the grandmothers sent regularly to birthdays and bank holidays. And, the story of Babička, a book by Bozena Nemcova, one of the first Czech feminist writers, which is being constantly read to the grandchildren, describing a life in / with the Czech culture.
