    • Synopsis
    • The documentary is a tribute and a rediscovery of the life, work and creative process of RAMON AYALA, one of the great poets and authors of Alto Paraná, of guarani jungle, who composed great themes of argentinian folklore, but his figure and his image is virtually unknown in the national cultural scene. His songs speak of the harvesters of yerba mate, the jangaderos, the mensúes, key figures in the history of Misiones. His poetry has the colors of his land. In the film intersect two characters: a handmade cds salesman and a successful manager of advertising, which alike, from their urban daily living, found in Ramon’s themes, an emotional transfer and a getaway to the magical world of her compositions.
The visual stamp of the director Marcos Lopez, artist and photographer, with his particular vision of American popular culture, present in an ongoing dialogue with the work of Ramon Ayala. Through popular folklore festivals, shows a Local Color, which attempts a visual reflection on argentinian cultural identity.
