    • Synopsis
    • Three deserted kids seek refuge in a riverside Martello tower from the authorities, inspired by the youngest Lucas, who everyone else believes lives in a fantasy. They make the tower their home and set out for provisions through the marshes, but swans attack them. They are drawn into the Underworld kingdom of the Fairies and become prisoners of Balor of the Evil Eye the Winter Lord. They escape and are saved by Hadi an amazing Tuareg warrior who takes them to the venerable Oracle (the stone of destiny). He sets Jack, Ellie his twin, and Jamie his older brother and on an epic quest. They must find seven pearls and free the Princess the daughter of Balor who represents the land. The winner 'Mihte' remains hostage in the fairy underworld so the others can go home. This is a story of magic, illusions, awesome fairy incarnations, bloodcurdling monsters, and giants set against a backdrop of a raging war. This lost authentic Irish saga is derived from ancient Druidic oral traditions set in its own supernatural world. It has elements in common with the Welsh King Arthur version. There is nothing like it... The story is an unending fairytale of cult potential.
