    • Synopsis
    • They never met and will probably never meet. And yet their fates are interwoven. The one wants to find out more about his beloved mother or father, who was sent to a Nazi´s concentration camp AS A Russian prisoner of war.. The other is trying to find the last traces of his father, a German Wehrmacht soldier, who is said to have died in Soviet war captivity.
      Two people searching someone out, searching something out. The two have led successful lives throughout the years of growing up and living with only one parent. They tried to suppress the void like so many others: Fascism and its aftermath has left more than 20 million half-orphans in Europe. And yet they feel their lives are broken. Who was the mother, who the father taken away much too early?
