    • Synopsis
    • POSTCARD TO DADDY is an autobiographical story of sexual abuse, experienced by director
and author Michael Stock, who was abused by his father between the age of 8 and 16. 25
years later, he confronts his family and his father with his story in front of the camera.
Michael Stock, who also did the camera work for his film, immerses himself in the story of his
politically liberal family, in which sexual violence seemed impossible. During loving exchanges
of back rubbing, boundaries were crossed and turned into years of sexual abuse. Why only
the youngest of the three children was affected is only one of the many questions that
      remain unanswered for the author.
