    • Synopsis
    • Acting is based on lying: saying words and doing actions that were thought by someone else (or by oneself) in order to reach a fictional objective. But it is a complex –and fragile– lie since it is based on truth and reality. Without them it wouldn’t exist, and the line separating one thing from the other is often blurred. Or at least that’s what Nora Díaz feels about it, since she’s an actress who delivers her body and soul to test her different characters. And she does it anywhere she can: streets, shops, houses, they are all good for listening, observing, composing. This way of conducting herself through life provides her with connections, bridges she builds towards the people and places that surround her or come across her path by chance. That’s how Nora feeds her characters: in a way that carries a monstrous, violent quality. All in all, those impressions give life to a bigger representation: the one of Chilean society, where once again it’s hard to tell the truth from the lie.
