- Synopsis
- In the Italian comedy My Big Crazy Italian Wedding, the family and the village of a gay fiancee couple are invited to practice acceptance and charity. Antonio (Cristiano Caccamo) and his friend Paulo (Salvatore Esposito) are newly engaged, live in Berlin and decide to travel to Antonio's home together to reveal their connection and homosexuality to his religious family. There, the small traditional Catholic village now faces the great task of learning that love knows no boundaries. Mother Anna (Monica Guerritore) immediately gives the marriage her blessing. And Antonio's father Roberto (Diego Abatantuono) has built his whole politics as mayor on the pillars of integration and hospitality - but he also lives these values? And will Paolo's conservative mother Vincenza appear at the wedding?
