    • Synopsis
    • As Catholics commemorate Niños Inocentes — the Bible story of Herod’s slaughter of children — a remote town celebrates the dying tradition of Yawa-Yawa (Devil’s Ritual). Townsfolk in ghoulish masks and demon costumes roam the streets to dance and steal items from neighbors that day, and return the stolen items at night in exchange for food or money.

Amidst this celebration, 12-year-old NENE vanishes without trace. Superstitious folks suspect the supernatural. But her family believes she was abducted by unknown assailants.

This film follows the investigation of this mysterious case, through the eyes of pregnant policewoman, BADET BEROYA.

While her search for the missing girl gets her involved in various interconnected crimes — from child pornography to occults sacrificing children — Beroya contemplates the abortion of her own unwanted child.

    • POTENTIAL FINANCING PLAN AND DISTRIBUTION
      FILM PHILIPPINES
As we try to look for private investors for financing along the way, we also intend to work on deals based on deferred payments with cast, crew and equipment houses for a total of $70,000. Furthermore, we are hoping to qualify in Film Philippine’s International Co-Production Fund (ICOF), where Filipino producers, under a company organized and registered as business in the Philippines and who are working with international co-productions can avail of a selective fund of up to PHP 10,000,000 or $208,000 when they conduct their production or post-
production of their full feature film in the Philippines.
