    • Synopsis
    • Introverted teen Kathy dreams of spending the summer at Black River Horse Camp for girls. But after a rodeo accident left her dad with a serious leg injury, her parents have forbidden Kathy from saddling up. Eventually though, concern for their daughter’s social wellbeing outweighs these fears, and Kathy heads to horse camp. Once assigned to a cabin, she meets the pretty and popular Stacy, the camp’s resident mean girl, as well as the funny and kindhearted Lisa, with whom Kathy shares an instant bond. To everyone’s surprise, Kathy is a natural in the saddle. Her newfound confidence attracts admirers but turns off old friends like Lisa. As she competes to dethrone Stacy as Camp Princess, Kathy learns to recognize the true value of real friendship.
