    • Synopsis
    • Amid the ever-changing streets of Delhi, four cobblers sit on the footpaths, each carrying a lifetime of resilience, struggle, and unspoken sorrow. Footpath - The Cobbler’s Silent Battle is a powerful short documentary that brings forth their untold stories—of a fading craft, economic survival, and the dignity of labor in an era dominated by disposable consumerism.

      Once essential to every household, their trade is now disappearing as mass-produced footwear floods the market, leaving them with dwindling earnings and an uncertain future. Through their deeply personal reflections, they reveal the hardships of making ends meet, society’s disregard for their work, and the generational burden of a dying profession. Yet, despite the odds, they persist—holding on to hope, pride, and the last remnants of their craft.

      This documentary is an intimate and emotional portrait of four artisans fighting not just for survival but for the recognition of a profession that, while fading, refuses to be forgotten.
