- Synopsis
- Armando and Luca Pasqualini are father and son and they are the only two professional gold seekers in Italy. They live in the suburbs of Pavia, 50 km from Milan, in an old farmhouse, with the old mother and the young Japanese Luca's wife. They are world famous and have been gold pining world and European champions more than once.
  They turn the world in search of gold and other minerals, using the old instruments such as the pan, and communicating in an unlikely mix of Pavia's slang, English and Italian.
  Their world is fascinating and mysterious: on one side the genuine closure of the lower Po valley, on the other the incredible and surreal adventures around the world. In the middle, the tradition of extracting minerals and a father-son relationship that is not so linear.
