    • Bela Vista, Mato Grosso do Sul, at the Paraguayan-Brazilian border, Joca, 12 year old Brazilian boy, is living with his separate and sad mother and his mysterious older brother Fernando. In the cities, dead bodies are regularly disappearing in the river, the border, and officially no one is responsible for that...
      Joca and his friends are a little gang and likes to go to the border to have some fights with the indigenous- Paraguayan kids gangs, to play the war as the adults are doing. And Joca would also like to be closer to Basano, his sweet princess, his magic firefly, his crazy Alligator Girl. But she rejects him, pushes him away, revenging her people who’s getting killed by the Brazilian gangs. One day, accusations of those murders are directed to Joca’s brother.
