    • Synopsis
    • DISCOPOLO is a journey into the hype of polish culture and sociological phenomenon of the 90’s. It’s also a story of rising of democracy and free market after the fall of communism when everything was possible and easy.

Tomek and Rudy form a band that plays in suburban discos and clubs but quickly gains success nationwide apart from all the difficulties of everyday life and tough music industry rules. Tomek falls in love with Gensonina, a sentimental and unpredictable star of DiscoPolo music who is involved in a relationship with Polak – a mean big boss well known in discopolo music industry. Tomek fights hard for his career and his feelings for Gensonina.

DISCOPOLO is full of Tarantino style irony, while the soundtrack combines present greatest Polish DiscoPolo songs but also will bring back some of the 90’s hits.
