    • Synopsis
    • Dante is a twenty-eight years old young man with a half-finished career as a photographer, a controlling girlfriend and an underpaid job to keep himself going. He works night shifts in a call center. That’s how he lives his life.
The call center is a good place to work, but it suffocates Dante and not only him: twenty-six years old Carolina, former model currently works as a promotion girl; thirty years old Sebastian, who has just been moved from another shift and tries to work as less as possible; twenty-eight years old Alvaro does this as his night job; and extremely unfriendly twenty years old Laura. Thirty-three years old Carla is a team manager. She is a workaholic, has got a law degree, but never practiced.
Dante and Sebastian immediately become friends frequently sharing a cigarette in a corridor. Meanwhile Laura is doing a pregnancy test.
There are many internal frictions at work, along with the general hatred to the customers. With a sudden fault in operating system, the call center can no longer work. However, Carla does not let them leave the workplace.
With nothing to do, they are killing time talking about music in /albergues transitorios/ (Argentinean motels), along with the soap stars and their own similarities with the superheroes. Meanwhile, Dante gets a call from his girlfriend who rings to finish their relationship. Carolina comforts Dante and they show mutual attraction.
Sebastian brings a whiskey to pass the time. Meanwhile, in the office, Laura tells Álvaro that she is pregnant. On return, Carla finds out that her staff has been drinking. She warns them about the security cameras and moans that they all are at risk of losing their jobs. Embarrassed with their childish behavior, the team sets up plan to retrieve the tapes from the security cameras.
The IT technician arrives. While waiting for the system to be fixed, the team is talking about their work situation and how much they are wasting their lives. This subject concerns Dante as he is feeling incapable of taking risks, so he leaves the room for a smoke. Carolina follows him. Dante overcomes his fears and kisses her. Feeling confused, Carolina runs to the bathroom followed by Sebastian. Dante tells Carla that he quits his job and it was his last day at the call center.
In the bathroom Carolina says to Sebastian that she has a boyfriend. Sebastian tells her off for playing with his friend. Carolina makes it clear that she is not sure about her feelings. Eventually Sebastian convinces her to stay with Dante. He leaves the bathroom and sees a worried Dante, who asks him what happened. Sebastian reassures him and they go for a cigarette. Carla interrupts them saying that the system is now working and they return to taking calls until the end of the day, the last one of Dante.
