    • Synopsis
    • In a tiny village of the Argentinean pampas, a group of volunteers carry out a brass music international festival. The group is formed with Juan the hairdresser, the musicians Lucía, Ximena and Luis, who is a trumpet player and Juan´s son, a couple of cooks and some friends, relatives and village residents. Great masters from all over the world and students from all of Latinamerica arrive in Isla Verde and are hosted by the residents. Visitors and residents alike share a week of concerts, rehearsals, music classes and lamb cooked over an iron plough disc and other delicacies. After the final concert, the village returns to its usual monotonous routine. Only the sound of a distant car or bicycle and the singing of birds and mooing of cows are heard, but Luis and Lucía dream about the next festival.
