    • “Bingo” is the story of a strong friendship between two small crooks, Sturzi and Bingo. The film shows three days in their lives. It all happens in “Kreis 4”, a working-class district of Zurich. Bingo is planning a bank robbery with his crony, Schorschi. Sturzi, who is just out of prison, is supposed to help them do it. But Sturzi refuses. He and his friend Bingo had thought out another plan while they were in prison: they wanted to emigrate to Brazil. Bingo is unhappy because he doesn’t know how to cope with his freedom. Sturzi finds out that the money he had put aside, is being used up by the authorities, who want to put him into an old people’s home. After trying in vain to get shelter from Chouchou, who is not a bad soul, he decides to help his friends. He wants to show the two lads that he is not ready for the scrap heap yet.
