- The story of Tomáš Baťa is stretch out of the legends about people who achieved their life goal in the face of unimaginable obstacles. How much is a person willing to sacrifice on the way to his lifelong dream? His love, firends, even life? Why is the desire to succeed so strong where others would have given up long ago? What internal motor or juggernaut can bring someone to the edge of human capabilities? In Central Europe there is only a handful of men who were able to create a worldwide business empire out of nothing. This film maps the journey of one such man.
