    • Synopsis
    • From Gorée island in Senegal to Gibraltar, this film evidences the similarities in the history of slavery.
      Four hundred years earlier, black people were sold, unchained to be exported around the world.
      They have built prosperous empires (but for how long) such as America, Europe and Middle East.
      Today another generation, far from its ancestors boards on its own willing on rotten
      rowing boats at the mercy of smugglers with no pity to end its journey on the Spanish shores
      hoping to escape the misery of western Africa.
      At best a life in illegality spent hidden in misery to grab a part of dream in the paradise of its former master, at worst… death…
