Description

Occupant Films is an independent film production and financing company based in Los Angeles, founded in 2005. The company's first film "All The Boys Love Mandy Lane", starring Amber Heard, was one of the hot titles at the 2006 Toronto Film Festival and was acquired in a bidding war by The Weinstein Company. The company then produced "The Wackness", written and directed by Jonathan Levine, starring Ben Kingsley, Josh Peck, Famke Janssen and Mary-Kate Olsen, which won the Audience Award at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival and was subsequently acquired and released by Sony Pictures Classics. In 2008, Occupants partners Joe Neurauter, Keith Calder and Felipe Marino were named on Variety's annual "10 Producers to Watch" list. Their film "Peep World", directed by Barry Blaustein, starring Michael C. Hall, Sarah Silverman, Rainn Wilson, Taraji Henson, Ron Rifkin and Kate Mara, premiered at the 2010 Toronto Film Festival, and will be released by IFC Films this spring. Their latest film "The Key
