FESTIVAL FILM & TV was established in 1991 by award-winning producer Ray Marshall. The company is developing a slate of feature films, including THE COLOUR, an epic drama set in New Zealand based on the award-winning novel by Rose Tremain, to be directed by Peter Webber (Girl With A Pearl Earring, Emperor), THE CHERISHED ONE, a thriller set in Louisiana from writer Lena Rae to be directed by Simon Rumley (The Last Word, Red, White & Blue) and STAY WITH ME, a contemporary love story to be directed by Tim Fywell, starring Kaya Scodelario (Wuthering Heights, Moon) and Tom Hughes (Cemetery Junction, About Time). Festival’s horror film subsidiary, BLIND MONKEY PICTURES, is developing intelligent genre films for the international marketplace. Its projects include CRACKED, a supernatural thriller to be directed by Peter Medak (The Changeling, The Krays), RUSTICO, a contemporary horror film set in Tuscany, FINLEY’S DARK a tense supernatural sci-fi and APARTMENT 16, an adaptation of Adam Nevil
