    • Synopsis
    • A personal journey in time through the eyes of two generations of filmmakers, father and son, travelling to the same remote island in Greece and filming it from the 70s until today. Yiorgos Kolozis went to Donoussa island for the first time in 1972, Donoussa didn't have electricity then and the word tourist was unknown to the island's inhabitants. Staying alone in his tent at Kedros beach, he acquired the name "Yiorgos of Kedros" and visited every summer until 1978. Returning again in 1999, the island had changed so much that he couldn't recognize it. So, in 2007, Yiorgos and Yiannis his son, went there together to find people from the past, share old memories and make new ones while filming what they thought would be the last shoot for the documentary. Yiorgos passing away in 2009 led Yiannis to return several times in order to create a story in which the linearity is not about time, but emotion, while time is treated as a reconsideration of the present moment. Where birth, death, youth and old age are present simultaneously. A study in the concept of memory.
