    • Synopsis
    • Pablo (11) tell stories to his brother Leo at night till he falls asleep. He learned it from his new friend Ringo (48), a storyteller who comes to his classroom in the Patagonia, Argentina public school every Monday morning and he tells them stories of a Chile writer called Onir Guevara. But one day, Ringo tells them he has to go back to Antuco, Chile, where he works as a waiter and tells them the last tale before departing. Pablo cannot avoid the idea of missing his new friend and hids in the car´s truk. Thus, they start a journey together to Antuco, Chile, with the idea of meeting the writer Onir Guevara.
Every morning they wait for him at the Old Station bar, but Onir never appears. This shared journey brings them closer and makes them grow up: Ringo finally dares to tell him about his children who are no longer with him, and Pablo speaks about his father who is in jail. They both dream with a near meeting with his relatives, but it seems impossible to them. Tired to wait for the writer in vain, Ringo finds a truck driver to take Pablo home to his mother.
When he is back home, he retells the story of his journey and he becomes a young storyteller. He adds some new details to the stories and even tells everybody about his meeting with the famous writer Onir Guevara and, thanks to him, his beloved meeting with his father in a fishing ship in the Patagonia.
His brother Leo congratulates him for his story but he already knows their father is in jail. His mother asks him for Ringo, she can´t believe he can still move ahead after losing his children. It is then that Pablo understands that Ringo is Onir Guevara. He discovers he has made up that story to escape from such a heavy burden and to feel closer to his children and his dreams.
