    • Synopsis
    • The Widows' Club follows a group of women unable to move forward after losing their husbands in an unfortunate golfing accident.

Ellen has a serious case of writer's block and won’t let her deceased husband and writing partner go. Besties Jude and Lydia drag her to a bereavement group where they meet grief counsellor Marcus, whose bizarre methodology has a strange, libidinous effect on them. Ellen denies having any feelings for him, freeing a path for Lydia to call "dibs". Torn, Ellen continues to resist his charms, but the more he triggers "her flow" and releases her writer's block, the more smitten she becomes.

Finally, acting on her feelings, she unleashes a series of events revealing hard truths between the women, threatening their 30-year friendship. Ellen must learn to finally let go, find her own voice, and allow herself to be ushered into the unexpected glory of the Widows' Club.
