- Synopsis
- Hugo is a popular entertainer working in a Soho club. But, in a former life, Hugo was a pompous twit, a man’s man who escaped the city to live in rural splendour with his long-suffering beautiful wife Anna. To celebrate his birthday and to show off his new country house, Hugo invites his lawyer friend Steve and his celebrity wannabe wife Wendy for a peaceful weekend. But the unexpected arrival of the charismatic Ben, an old flame of Anna’s and a former friend of Hugo, proves to be a disaster as Hugo’s weekend descends into a chaos of thieves, strippers, gypsies, madness and... murder?
