- Synopsis
- The river Turia overflows due to the flood, destroying the city it is submerged in water, mud, chaos and misery.
  OLVIDO GRANELL, a brave journalist forced to prove her worth every day in a medium where there are almost no women, is forced to join forces with the veteran police sergeant JOAQUÍN CAPLLIURE, to clarify the appearance of six corpses dragged by the water during the flood, but whose bodies reveal that they have not been victims of the river's fury: they are marked by strange scars. When the corpses disappear from the morgue and the high command of the Regime order the case to be shelved, Olvido and Caplliure decide to continue defying power and the imposed silence. They will discover that the victims are young people without resources, children of peasants, with scholarships as athletes in religious schools, and that they are not the only ones who have disappeared. But each step they take towards the truth plunges them a little deeper into mud, mystery and danger, forcing them to put their own lives at risk.
