    • Synopsis
    • This is the story of a family and a young woman, Suzanne. First, there are the happy, childhood years, despite the absence of the mother, who had died when Suzanne and her sister, Maria, were very young. Nicolai, their father, does his best to run things. Clumsy, but loving, he sacrifices himself a little to the girls, refusing to remarry. Then comes adolescence. Suzanne gets pregnant, meets a young lowlife with whom she falls madly in love and runs away with him, abandoning the child. Then comes the wilderness years, prison, expectations, an accident... A difficult path, full of pitfalls, before this family can rebuild itself, before th efather, the daughter and the grandson can reunite.
