- Synopsis
- SABINA is the true story of Sabina Oster, a young Romanian woman in the late 1930’s who falls in love with the man of her dreams in a whirlwind romance. Richard Wurmbrand is handsome, smart, and earns plenty of money – money he lavishly spends on her. Their idyllic life is rudely interrupted, first by his bout with tuberculosis, and then with the invasion of the Iron Guard and the Nazis into Romania. Sabina’s entire family is murdered by the Nazis, and Richard’s newfound faith centers on forgiveness. Sabina Wurmbrand becomes one of the great women of the 20th century, one of the purest models of God’s love and grace.
