    • Synopsis
    • Music producer Bill just finished the sound mix on the latest album of his client, global singing sensation, Natasha, on idyllic Bali. He’s not expecting to accidentally discover Natasha’s decided to commit suicide to ensure its success and her, a long lasting legacy.

He’s also not taking seriously the legend surrounding Natasha’s hotel suite, Room 327, which is traditionally reserved for and sometimes occupied by the Goddess of the Southern Sea.

Natasha has played the media darling game without one mis-step since she was discovered at fifteen. Her Instagram, twitter and FaceBook numbers are huge, her approval rating sky high; sponsors and advertisers are fighting to work with her. And she’s done her homework – she knows exactly what will happen to her statistics and her album sales if she dies at this perfect moment.

Her ruthless, exploitative Instragram influencer and best friend, Sam, is very happy, contemplating an avalanche of views following their privileged access to the sensational event.

Bill has other ideas when he hears about the plan. He rushes over to her hotel room, number 327, to talk her out of it but Natasha is prepared for him with a legal agreement placing him in charge of a Foundation controlling all her wealth and assets and allocating him almost fifty per cent of her new album’s sales revenue. Surely, an offer he can’t refuse?

Shrugging off the attractive offer, Bill tries every thing he can think of to convince Natasha to live, highlighting her loyal fans, various religious prohibitions, stars who’ve lived long and fulfilling lives with their popularity and success growing with them and even proposes an alternative way out of the spotlight with her legacy intact, but Natasha has powerful counter arguments to each angle, shutting him down with ease.

Finally after making Bill a cup of coffee, she surprises him with a kitchen knife to his neck, forcing him to compare his cold terror with the warm, reassurance and comfort she says she feels, contemplating her death, not knowing that experience was when the Goddess saved her from drowning on a previous visit to the island and she hasn’t finished looking out for her yet…

Bill still won’t quit though and resorts to describing watching his own father die, attempting to use his desperate attempt to cling to every last second of life to convince Natasha of its precious value and importance.

Natasha pauses, apparently finally considering his argument when they are both blindsided by a personal story from Sam followed by a revelation – induced from him by the Goddess – that turns the whole situation upside down and results in two murders…
