He is a student leader and after a protest against the dictatorship he is forced to leave his family, his boyfriend and his country. Before escaping, his boyfriend gives him a paper with the name of someone who will help him in Lima.

When Percy obtains a visa to the United States, he tells Angel, who now lives in Lima. She betrays him and tells Rey about the trip. Out of spite, Rey uses his connections to prevent Percy from leaving Peru.
