    • Meseganio Tadela, aged 74, is a hard, obstinate, and nervous man.
He immigrated to Israel from Ethiopia 28 years ago with his family.
He chosen to zealously retain his original culture, talks very little, and hardly speaks Hebrew.
After he lost his wife He is also scared, scared from dying, from being alone.
Meseganio sets out on a journey that leads him through his children’s homes.

He comes to realize that he belongs to a rapidly disappearing variety that believes in retaining the Jewish Ethiopian culture and values and that he thought that he had managed to pass on to his children. But the harsh reality hits him in the face. The disappointment and the ensuing waking up are too difficult to bear.
Meseganio, having come to know some of life’s new realities, tries to survive according to his own ways.
