    • Synopsis
    • In 1940s, ever since the Japanese stationed in Chosun, they have been madly on the search for “The Light of the East’. After several years of endless searching, the head of the Japanese military succeeds in finding ‘The Light of the East’ and holds a send-off party for the diamond to be quickly taken away to Japan. Meanwhile, Bong-gu(PARK Yong-woo), top con-artist with a thousand different faces who is known as a promising rich man asks expert faux-naif top jazz singer, Choon-ja(LEE Bo-young) to escort him to the send-off party for ‘The Light of the East’. He lures her with an expensive diamond ring to go with him. But, leading a double life as ‘Haedanghwa’, the top burglar in Chosun, Choon-ja also secretly plots to steal ‘The Light of the East’.
      Not knowing each other’s secret identities, Bong-gu and Choon-ja plot their own secret plans to get their hands on the priceless diamond...
