- My name is Ion Gabella. Actor. From Victoria. I have passed 50, 16 of them in a very different place after dying in Zumaia in 2002. I think it is a good time to tell you my story, which is also that of many others. Colleagues from times of conflict who burned the cold of Gasteiz, and some other thing, unleashing a wave of creativity that flooded Euskal Herria from end to end. Perspective I do not lack, I assure you...
  My childhood is that of March 3, the Bloody Sunday of Gazteiz that opened so many eyes and shed so many tears; my adolescence, that of industrial reconversion and broken promises. I am a guy who is at times likeable and at times angry, who found his place on the stage and on celluloid, grabbed by the balls of characters who gave him security and allowed him not to take flight in the screwed-up moments.
  Babazorro of pro. I manage to be alive even in the darkest hours and sometimes I become a small ball of hate. I have had the fortune to meet, work and love, not in this order and not always at the same time, several of the protagonists of the explosion of Basque cinema in the 90s: Juanma Bajo Ulloa, Enrique Urbizu, Alex de la Iglesia, Karra Elejalde or Unax Ugalde, among others. Their testimonies and those of different people who have passed through my professional life -Javier Bardem, Santiago Segura or Iggy Pop- and personal, mine, will be my witnesses
