    • Synopsis
    • Once upon a time there was a young psychiatrist called Hector who was not very satisfied with himself... because he could see perfectly well that he couldn’t make people happy. And so he decided to take a trip around the world, and everywhere he went he would try to understand what made people happy or unhappy. That way, he told himself, if there was a secret to happiness, he’d be sure to find it.
Hector’s journey soon turns into a sparkling adventure which takes him to China, Africa and California where he encounters Chinese prostitutes, Buddhist monks, rich bankers, doctors, drug lords and happiness professors.
At the end of it all, his notebook is full. He has learnt 23 happiness lessons and understood the secret of his own happiness. But will his girlfriend Clara still be waiting for him?
