    • Synopsis
    • : A metropolitan city is in the grip of fear when a series of blackouts bring out a serial killer - dubbed by the press as The Picasso Killer – for he believes murder is an art and makes classic examples out of his victims. While walking home from work one night, a waitress named Christie stumbles upon the killer and his latest victim. Terrified, and being pursued, Christie flees to a nearby office building under renovation. Convincing the old but friendly guard to let her inside, they summons the help of the police. Arriving on the scene are Duane and Lawrence, homicide detectives who are faced with yet one more crazed citizen claiming to have seen the Picasso Killer. But they quickly discover how right she is. As a blackout rolls across the city, and all communications go down, the Picasso Killer strikes at the few people inside. Trapped, with nowhere to run to, the detectives and Christie hide inside the dark building hoping the cavalry will arrive before the killer finds them. Over the course of the night, a deadly game of cat-and-mouse ensues as the Picasso Killer murders one person after another as he seeks out the one woman that can identify him.
A mixture of Panic Room & I Know What You Did Last Summer, Fall Down Dead is designed as an exciting & gripping tale. Relying on isolation and fear of the dark, Fall Down Dead is a Hitchcock-style thriller primed to draw upon the success of suspenseful serial killer movies.
