- Synopsis
- An old traditional hotel is facing the crisis of being close down. Mark, the second-generation owner, hopes to revive the business by transforming the traditional establishment into a grand new design. As a result, he commissions Remix to renovate the hotel. Although Remix is a small design studio, its staff members are composed of a wide range of characters. Bazi, the sales manager who is far from content with their current situation brings his beautiful ex-girlfriend, Doris, into the company as a “senior designer”. However, his true motive is to win her back. Doris’ arrival triggers a series of power struggles. As Mark has fallen for Doris at first sight, Andrew, the owner of Remix, has no qualm about using her as bait to secure this big project. Emma, the other “senior designer”, pretends to be friendly with Doris, but works flat out to isolate Doris by spreading scandalous rumors behind Doris’ back. The ambitious young designer Chiang and the naïve assistant Chizi are being used as pawns in this political game. The seemingly harmonious atmosphere in the office is just the veneer under which everyone is devising his own scheme. At work, they talk about design, doing and carrying out the design. Unfortunately this also applies to their relationships and private lives as they try to use one another in their own designs.
