- Synopsis
- Tyler (32) dreams of being a famous youtuber but his videos are not very successful. He spends all day making videos with his eccentric best friend Faith. One day, he is filming himself on the street, when his phone is stolen. He doesn't have money to buy another one, so he dusts off his dead father's old cell phone. He discovers that the cell phone is capable of recording ghosts and decides to use it to gain followers by doing live broadcasts and interviewing ghosts. Faith, his somewhat fearful best friend, helps him with his crazy projects,
  
  He opens up a possibility for these forgotten and buried dead to have their moment of fame that they did not have in life. The ghosts find in the digital world a new way to feel alive and no longer accept to be part of the past, they want to take over the social networks to take over the postmodern world.
  
  Accidents, deaths and much chaos, not only created by ghosts in search of fame but also by the living in their interaction with the dead. Thanks to the cell phone, Tyler becomes famous, his paranormal videos go viral and they call him "The Intermediary". But this comes at a cost: he's becoming a corpse himself. Soon he'll be just a social media ghost.
  
  To save himself, he will have to abandon forever the key of his success: the intermediary cell phone, but not before settling the pending conversation with his father, who this time is proud of his success and does not want him to ruin everything by getting rid of the phone.
  
  Tyler has that last conversation with his father, and he can get rid of the cell phone. He returns to her usual unsuccessful videos with her best friend Faith. Everything seems to be back to normal, however, Faith and Tyler discover a new video published on social networks: it is a commercial of the “intermediary cell phone”, which enables anyone who has it to communicate with the dead.
