    • Coco is a chaotic young woman, who is embroiled in a hopeless affair with Hans, recently divorced and in his fifties, and has no idea what to do with her life. When she accidentally runs into her unworldly mother in the street, who tells her that she’s seriously ill, Coco seizes this opportunity for a new purpose in life with both hands. She moves in with her mother to care for her.
Her mother Elisabeth is in her mid-fifties. Before she became ill, she worked as a gifted picture framer. She separated from Coco’s father twenty years ago. Certainly since her divorce, when both her husband and her child moved away, her life has been a very orderly, calm and quiet affair. And quietly is how she would prefer to die, until Coco noisily barges back into her life.
With Elisabeth’s death on her heels, Coco, who has an insatiable craving for love, attention and recognition, tries to get close to her mother to ask the questions that have until now remained unanswered. On her part,
Elisabeth attempts to hide her antipathy towards her daughter and desperately tries to control the damages she’s caused as a mother. In this way, both antagonise each other with their good intentions.
