    • Synopsis
    • Back in the 17th century, legendary musketeer d’Artagnan promised his sword to a 12-year old Dutch farmer boy who saved his life during the French occupation of the Netherlands. As d’Artagnan was killed in the historic battle of Maastricht, all he could leave to the boy were the sword’s whereabouts in a mysterious letter. The luckless young heir of the sword and generations of his descendants tried to decipher the musketeer’s code without success…
12-year old Isabel’s grandfather Ber is one of these descendants, and his stubborn determination to find the legendary sword against all odds drove the whole family apart. When Ber is hospitalized with a broken leg, Isabel teams up with her cousin Rik and the castle owner’s grandson Jules to continue Ber’s quest. After all, the precious sword is the last chance to save her grandpa’s dept-laden farm! In an exciting race against time, the kids break into the used car dump and into the historical archive, decipher antique maps, solve ancient riddles with modern technology, explore castles and caves and prove themselves in many adventures. When Jules is manipulated by his grandfather who has his own plans for the sword, conflicting loyalties almost split up the team. Will the three friends overcome all of these obstacles and fight for their goal like true musketeers – one for all, all for one?
