- Synopsis
- Caracas is a child of our time, lost and alone. He is "The Railway Christ," the last of the last. He hates the sea and curses Naples under his breath. At his side is a wise old novelist, wandering a city that once was his home but that he no longer recognizes. Giordano knows coming back was a mistake and wants to stop writing now. Caracas's Naples is beautiful in its decadent abandonment. It is shameless and damned. It is Naples no more. It is a South American barrio, a Brazilian favela, an Indian slum. Yet, in the alleys of this Babel, in these damp streets, everyone feels they can make their dreams come true while dancing in a passionate embrace.
